How do children develop the early math skills they need in order to be ready for kindergarten? This learning starts in the early years, through everyday “math play” and by hearing and using math language! In this recording, you will learn more about the development of early math concepts and to discover how the research on early math can be aligned with play-based activities and conversations with toddlers (2 months to 3 years) to support their numeracy skills.
You will gain a new understanding of what toddlers are able to do and learn when it comes to early math and gain a range of resources available to support their math-related practice with young children and families.
