Beginning in 2005, the Safe Babies Court Team™ at ZERO TO THREE has hosted an annual meeting, Cross Sites, for child welfare professionals, judges, court personnel, service providers, community coordinators, and other stakeholders. The Cross Sites meeting provides a national learning community to share ideas and innovative approaches, learn about the latest scientific practices in the field, and discuss child welfare policies and practices for infants and toddlers and their families in the child welfare system.
In 2019 ZERO TO THREE was proud to host the 13th Annual Cross Sites Meeting as part of its Supporting Infants, Toddlers, and Their Families Together initiative in Chicago, Illinois at the Drake Hotel from August 20th-22nd. This meeting was jointly sponsored by ZERO TO THREE and The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Division of Home Visiting and Early Childhood Services. And in partnership with The American Bar Association, Center on Children and the Law; The Center for the Study of Social Policy; The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges; and RTI International.
