Mindfulness and Self Care: Building a Resilient Community and Culture of Caring

Working with trauma can lead to vicarious traumatization

Working with young children and families who experience trauma can lead to vicarious traumatization. This event focuses on mindfulness and self-care for early childhood professionals.

To honor National Child Welfare Worker Appreciation Week, Safe Babies™ hosted a webinar with ZERO TO THREE Board Member Dr. Joy Osofsky. To support resilience, it’s important to explore personal and professional prevention strategies for compassion fatigue and be fully present and aware of feelings related to working with young children and families in child welfare.
