Cross Disciplinary Personnel Competencies: A Necessary Tool for Team Based Service Delivery

What are the cross-disciplinary competencies? Recommended by leading professional early childhood education (ECE) organizations, these competencies were created by the Early Childhood Personnel Technical Assistance Center (ECPC) and represent a rigorous review and alignment of the research-based standards, competencies, and practice guidelines required or recommended for any provider delivering services to infants or young children with disabilities from birth to 5 years old.

Join Mary Beth Bruder and Toby Long for an overview of the development of the competencies and its four core areas: Family-Centered Care, Coordination and Collaboration, Intervention Informed by Evidence, and Professionalism.
