The Caregiver Coaching Framework (Session 2)

Presented by Dathan Rush of Family, Infant and Preschool Program and M'Lisa Shelden of Wichita State University.

Podcast: Listen on-the-go!

Caregiver coaching consists of five research-based characteristics that when used together result in positive parent-identified outcomes for infants, toddlers, and their families. This one-hour webinar will introduce participants to the coaching characteristics of observation, action/practice, reflection, feedback, and joint planning. Participants will learn when to use each coaching characteristics and receive helpful resources for his/her coaching toolkit.

In this session we listed the five characteristics of the caregiver coaching framework, explained the purpose of the four types of reflective questions, and described the importance of joint planning.
