Dr. Pruett is clinical professor of child psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine and is a past president of ZERO TO THREE. He is the author of many books on parenthood, but one that I think is most relevant for our discussion today is a book called Partnership Parenting that he co-wrote with his wife, Marsha Kline Pruett.
