Cultivating leaders in early childhood for three decades and counting
The ZERO TO THREE Fellowship has been cultivating leaders in early childhood for three decades and counting. The fellowship program is an intensive professional development program that brings together early childhood professionals from around the globe. For 32 years, our fellows have completed the program and taken what they’ve learned back into their fields to benefit infants and toddlers.

While our fellowship program contains deep, meaningful content for leaders who work with children and their families, the program is designed to meet our fellows at the intersection of their personal beliefs and their professional roles — and help them grow from that place. Goals and Objectives
An intense 18-month program that changes lives
The ZERO TO THREE fellowship program involves a written curriculum, six in-person gatherings, four intensive retreats and individual coaching with the program director. Fellows are supported financially to attend the fellowship program, with permission from their employer. Fellows learn as much from each other as they do from the curriculum. The program covers a variety of topics, including:

- Diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice
- Infant and early childhood mental health
- Advocacy and public policy work
- How to develop strong program messaging
- How to increase parent engagement in programming
We seek individuals from diverse geographic locations, backgrounds, professions and populations to ensure our early childhood development leaders reflect the broad diversity of families and children whose lives they intend to change.

Our fellows are making the world better for kids
More than 300 fellows have completed our program since its inception and the effects of their personal and professional transformations reach across the globe. About our Fellows
Our early childhood education fellowship has been running for over 32 years and has produced over 300 diverse and dedicated alumni. These child development leadership pioneers embrace a just, courageous and collaborative approach to positively impacting the lives of babies and young children. Our alumni also form close connections and lasting relationships with peers and other members of ZERO TO THREE during this experience.
