Abel Covarrubias, current Board Member of ZERO TO THREE and past ZERO TO THREE Fellow, shares his story having grown up in a farming community and the path that led him to become Chief Executive Officer of Aprendamos Intervention Team, an organization providing early intervention services in Doña Ana County, New Mexico.
The values that were instilled in Abel as a child whose family provided care to migrant workers passing through in need of food or shelter carries into Abel’s approach now as a leader in the early childhood field empowering families to thrive and learn together in supportive community.
