Amy currently oversees the National Center on Early Childhood Development, Teaching and Learning at ZERO TO THREE. Amy is responsible for working with the Office of Head Start to align the Center’s activities, reporting, and oversight of the consortium to advance best practices that lead to positive child outcomes across early childhood programs. Amy also serves as the inaugural chair of the ZERO TO THREE Culture Committee. Amy was formerly the Director of Text4baby. Under Amy’s oversight Text4baby enrolled over 1 million mothers by engaging a partner base of 1400 organizations. Prior to working at ZERO TO THREE, Amy worked with the American Academy of Pediatrics on the Bright Futures Guidelines and quality improvement work. Amy holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and completed doctoral work in Human Development and Family Studies at The Pennsylvania State University. Amy is the mother of 3 high schoolers (Garrett, Madeline and Gavin) which along with her husband, Matt, provide the foundation for her work.
