Crystal Hallock, PRSS-SUP, PRSS is a Parent Leader for Safe Babies, a program of ZERO TO THREE.
Crystal is a Parent Leader with Safe Babies, a program of ZERO TO THREE, and has been a member of the National Advisory Group for Parents’ Voices with the Infant-Toddler Court Program National Resource Center since 2019. She has been a parent mentor for over 16 years and has provided peer-to-peer mentorship to clients in Washoe County Specialty Courts since 2007. Additionally, Crystal has been a certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist since 2015, a position and recognition she helped found when she served as Vice Chair on the State of Nevada Certification Board from 2013 to 2015.
She brings a wealth of lived experience; having gone through Child Protective Parent Leaders and National Advisory Group of Parent Voices Services herself and then raised nine children including her own children, her younger siblings and she is currently guardian to her preschool-age grandson. Crystal uses this experience and her long history of collaborating with clients to mentor and advocate for parents involved in the court system and support practice and policy changes that will improve the lives of all children and families.
