An early childhood educator and certified parent coach, Jamesetta Ross Diggs advocates for systems change that empowers communities and families of color to rise. Since emigrating with her family from Liberia in 2014, Diggs has served as a preschool teacher, family educator and parent coach for families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
In 2020, she founded Social Learning for Littles, a parent empowerment establishment that creates culturally diverse learning resources based on brain science for positive parent-child interactions.
Diggs has a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies with an emphasis on counseling and is pursuing her second bachelor’s in child development. In 2010, while still in her home country, she joined the Liberian National Early Childhood team as master trainer and consultant, setting up pilot early childhood centers in disadvantaged communities and developing a prenatal curriculum for pregnant moms.
