Lindsay Calveri is a Parent Leader for Safe Babies, a program of ZERO TO THREE.
Lindsay grew up in Twentynine Palms, Ca. She moved to Iowa after living in many places, including Las Vegas, Pau France, and West Yellowstone, MT. She is a single mom to an amazing 6-year-old named Gabriel. She is the Assistant General Manager at the Renaissance Savery in Des Moines and has been in the hotel industry since she was 17 years old. Lindsay has been in recovery for 6 years. She is a Polk County Recovery Court Program graduate and has worked closely with Project Iowa and Children and Families of Iowa. Lindsay now serves as a Parent Leader for Safe Babies, a program of ZERO TO THREE.
In this role, Lindsay utilizes the lived experience of her and her son’s journey through the child welfare system to give voice to the family experience and team with professionals to shape policy and practice that can better serve families.
