Dr. Melissa Baron serves as the Director of Quality for the HealthySteps National Office, where she oversees the work of the Training & Technical Assistance, Fidelity, and Professional Development teams.
Dr. Baron began her career by working grassroots with LatinX immigrant families who are limited in English speaking and have children with disabilities; she has also served as a mentor and parent coach supporting the development of strong healthy families.
With over ten years in the non-profit and higher education settings, Dr. Baron is an experienced Instructional Designer, Program Developer, and Professor. She is skilled in family science/engagement, human development, research methods, learning experience design, instructional design models, program evaluation, facilitation, and inclusive DEIBJA best practices.
Dr. Baron received her PhD in Family Science and Human Development from Montclair State University.
